We’re working with a growing engineering consultancy in Birmingham, who are looking to expand their team with the addition of a Civil Engineer.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in infrastructure design, particularly in drainage and highways.
What you’ll be doing:
Producing detailed designs for highways, drainage, and earthworks schemes
3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design using Civils 3D & Flow
Supporting the preparation and approval of S278, S38, S104, and S106
Attending client, contractor, and local authority meetings as a project representative
Assisting in the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments and SuDS strategies
Collaborating closely with senior engineers, contractors, and design teams
What we’re looking for:
5+ years’ UK experience in infrastructure or civil engineering consultancy
Proficient in Civils3D, AutoCAD and drainage software (Microdrainage, Flow)
Working knowledge of highways and drainage approval (S278, S104, etc.)
Experience working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
