Location: Leeds (University of Leeds site-based)
Type: Temp to Perm (3-Month Initial Contract) Moving to Circa £40K salary.

We're looking for a knowledgable, entry level Quantity Surveyor (SOR) to join a major FM contract at the University of Leeds. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the goal of transitioning to a permanent role after a successful 3-month period.
You’ll manage reactive and small works, oversee cost recovery and applications, and work closely with operational and client teams. Experience with Schedule of Rates (SORs) is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Price reactive and planned works using SORs / NSR
Manage invoicing, WIP, subcontractor costs, and applications
Ensure financial compliance and margin performance
Support commercial reporting and client liaison
What You’ll Bring:
FM or maintenance contract experience
Strong knowledge of SOR-based pricing
Excellent Excel and commercial reporting skills
Degree-qualified (QS or similar); RICS desirable
Collaborative, detail-focused, and commercially aware
