A business based in Sheffield are looking for a Civil & Structural Engineer to work from their Sheffield office with regular site visits in the local area. This is an exciting opportunity for a previously out-sourced skill-set. To help improve in-house capability
Day to Day
-
Structural design calculations, specifications and construction drawings for steel and concrete
-
Provide technical support to construction teams, acting as a bridge between the design office and project delivery.

Develop installation methodology in conjunction with the construction team

Preparing scope, schedule, and other technical documents for contracted works, and temporary works design.

Coordinate technical queries between site team and design office.

Carry out inspections and quality checks.
Experience
-
Qualified to CEng / chartered status
-
Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.

Proficient in technical design packages such as Tekla, CADS and Tedds.

Ability to produce designs underpinned by strong engineering principles.
