The jobholder should hold a Bachelor of Science /Masters of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent and registered with Board of Engineers or equivalent.
Structural Engineer minimum 8 years practical working experience in structural engineering, analysis and design of offshore facilities.
Have strong knowledge on design techniques in structural steel engineering including associated computer software throughout various stages of projectdevelopment cycle, i.e., from Appraise to Execute.
Experience and familiar with design code API RP2A WSD and LRFD codes
Development of design and fabrication detail drawings
Familiar with Codes of practice for structural steel work erection and welding applications.
Experience in installation of jacket structures, piles, decks and modules.
Familiar with lifting equipment including offshore derrick barge crane
Relevant international standards and codes of practice commonly use in the oil and gas industry including API, BS, AISC and DNV.
Proficient in structural integrity analysis and software especially SACS, etc.
Management skill of handling offshore platform structural integrity projects.
Ability to propose innovative concept for offshore structures is an added advantage.
Excellent supervisory, communication and presentation skills including oral and written reporting and organization management.
