This Opportunity
WSP is seeking a Lead Water Resources Civil Engineer to help manage an increasing number of storm water consulting projects in our growing group in San Diego, CA. A bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or related engineering field is required, with a minimum of 8 years of design and management experience in water resources or civil design and a professional civil engineering license.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about increasing the quality of stormwater through the design and implementation of stormwater management systems that will support the goals and requirements of the municipal, commercial, and industrial NPDES permits. Successful candidates will be energized by our unique group blend of water quality engineers and scientists working together to enhance Southern California’s waterways, as well as the ability to work on both stormwater engineering and monitoring projects.
We are looking for a candidate who is excited about the opportunity to manage and mentor staff, promote excellence, and take part in our varied office and field activities, both rain and shine. This position requires you to be based in San Diego, CA with a hybrid work schedule offered. Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $125,200- $186,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
