ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a dynamically growing company that provides services in the fields of Asset Management and Hospitality, is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer

 

📌 Location: Athens

 🖋️You will be reporting to:  Project Manager (PM)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, oversee, and coordinate the construction process and all related projects while adhering to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
  •   Oversee the collection, review, and distribution of As-Built Drawings, Operations and Maintenance Manuals, and all other essential project files.
  •   Coordinate the Project Delivery Process to the client/operator, ensuring a seamless turn-key delivery.
  • Lead major or minor design work from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with building code requirements.
  •   Attend and coordinate the selection process for Structural firms to ensure optimal project alignment.
  •   Prepare Structural Design Firm Contracts in collaboration with other Senior Engineers and the Project Manager.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with the Senior Architect, MEP Senior Engineer, and other team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Organize and lead weekly meetings during the design and construction phases to ensure timely delivery and alignment among all involved parties.
  • Anticipate potential challenges that may impact the delivery of long-lead projects and implement appropriate remedial actions.
  • Supervise and lead the project design team, ensuring adherence to permitting rules, time schedules, cost control, and client/operator requirements at all project stages..


Requirements
    • University degree in Structural Design, a MSc in relative field will be a plus.
    • At least 8 years of experience in a similar position and in high end projects in hospitality.
    • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and MS office applications
    • Thorough knowledge of Greek Legislation pertinent to department’s activities.
    • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English in both writing and speaking is a prerequisite
