MEP Quantity Surveyor – Exciting Career Opportunity in Malta!

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems?

We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration for MEP-related projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile developments, collaborating with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure cost efficiency and project success.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies specifically for MEP systems.
• Oversee tendering, procurement, and contract documentation for mechanical and electrical works.
• Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments for MEP installations.
• Manage contract administration, variations, and claims related to MEP projects.
• Track and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and cost-saving measures.
• Assess and certify interim and final payments for MEP contractors and suppliers.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare financial reports, cash flow projections, and valuations related to MEP works.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or a related field.
• Experience in MEP cost estimation, contract management, and procurement.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction contracts, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and cost management software.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• A valid driving license is an advantage.
