Puritas (Pvt) Ltd is a member of world of Hayley’s and fully owned subsidiary of Haycarb PLC, an environmental engineering company specialized in Water and Wastewater Purification, Manufacturing of Value-added activated carbon products. Puritas is the leader in providing water and wastewater treatment solutions in Sri Lanka and Maldives. We have built over 400 treatment plants across Sri Lanka, Maldives, Thailand, Indonesia and Myanmar. The company is engaged in provision of custom designed water and wastewater purification systems, community and municipal scale water supply and sewerage projects, water and wastewater consultation and customized operation and maintenance contracts in the same capacity.

Position- Quantity Surveyor (Contract Basis)
Location – Puritas Head Office, Colombo 10
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze architectural and engineering drawings to prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation for projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning for proposed projects.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to gather pricing and scope details.
Evaluate tender submissions and prepare detailed comparison reports.
Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive bids.
Assist in contract negotiations and develop effective procurement strategies.
Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards in all tender documentation.
Maintain accurate records of tender submissions, evaluations, and outcomes.
Candidate Profile:
BSc, NDT, HND, NCT, City & Guilds, or an equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, while meeting deadlines.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pre-contract works, preferably in water supply, sewerage, and building projects.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Contract basis: 12 months, with potential for extension. High-performing candidates may be considered for a permanent position at the end of the contract.
