Quantity Surveyor and Billing engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation and BOQ Preparation: Developing detailed cost estimates for fire fighting system installations.
• Preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Contract Management: Managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitoring contract compliance and addressing any discrepancies.
• Cost Control and Monitoring: Tracking project expenditures and ensuring adherence to budgets.
• Identifying and managing cost variations.
• Conducting regular cost analyses and providing reports.
• Billing and Invoicing: Preparing and processing accurate invoices for completed work.
• Managing payment applications and certificates.
• Resolving billing disputes and ensuring timely payments.
• Measurement and Valuation: Accurately measuring installed fire fighting system components for billing purposes.
• Conducting valuations of work completed at various project stages.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining meticulous records of all cost-related and billing transactions.
• Ensuring proper documentation for audits and financial reporting.
• Fire Safety Compliance: Ensuring all cost estimates and billing practices comply with relevant fire safety codes and standards.
• Understanding of specialized fire protection equipment.
