Quantity Surveyor

Are you ready to take the next step in your Quantity Surveying career? We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Intermediate to Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and growing team delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects across the Waikato region.
 
About the Role:
You'll play a key part in the financial management of construction projects from pre-contract through to final account. Working closely with the project and site teams, you'll ensure cost-effective delivery, accurate forecasting, and strong subcontractor and supplier relationships.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of tenders, estimates, and budgets
• Contract administration and progress claims
• Cost reporting, forecasting, and variations management
• Procurement of subcontractors and negotiation of terms
• Final accounts and project close-out

About You:

• 4+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally in commercial and/or residential construction
• Strong understanding of NZS3910 and construction contract law
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Confident managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail and commercial acumen
