About the role of Project Quantity Surveyor:
As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be no.2 on a £80m Commercial Office shell and core CAT A Fit Out Project based near Mayfair. This is a 2-stage tender, cut and carve project with the second stage commencing at the end of February. You will be reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor on site. You will be working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor who have a turnover of over £1bn and constantly have interesting projects due to them winning the majority of projects in London. They are dominating the London construction market and have a proven track record of progressing staff through the ranks.
Key Responsibilities of Project Quantity Surveyor:
Liaise with clients and site managers regarding contract works and administrative aspects
Communicating with subcontractors and monitoring cost changes
Upstream client management with the assistance of a Senior Quantity Surveyor Key Requirements of Project Quantity Surveyor:
Experience in 2-stage tendering at a Tier 1 Main Contractor
Ideally have some cut and carve experience
