Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Essex, are looking for an experienced Plumber to join their team and play a crucial role in their maintenance operations.    
 
Position: Plumber
Rate: £22 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (November 2025) with Possible Extension  

Job Purpose: 

• To provide an effective maintenance and repairs service that meet contract and customer expectations.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications.
• Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications.
• Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Home Buy Officer role or equivalent.
• City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 or relevant experience in 3 relevant trades.
• Full, current Driving Licence
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
