Midweight Interior Designer

Location:             South Hampstead, London
Salary:                  £38,000 – £45,000 (Depending on experience)

We’re thrilled to be partnering with a boutique Interior Design studio who are internationally recognised for their soulful, theatrical, and experience-led hospitality projects. From world-class restaurants and luxury hotels to immersive lifestyle destinations, this studio creates spaces with storytelling, character, and emotion at their heart.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a talented Midweight Designer who’s looking to be creatively challenged, exposed to exceptional projects, and supported by a small, passionate team. This opportunity would suit a Midweight Interior Designer with 3+ years’ experience in Hospitality interiors, confident using AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop, and eager to take on responsibility across all design stages.

Office: Central London
Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday

 

Duties:

  • Assist with the development of conceptual design ideas and creative narratives
  • Produce mood boards, design presentations, and storytelling visuals in InDesign
  • Create technical drawings and joinery details in AutoCAD for various project phases
  • Develop 3D SketchUp models to support internal design development and client visualisation
  • Source FF&E and materials that align with the design concept and the studios signature style
  • Liaise with suppliers and consultants and support in producing full specification schedules
  • Attend site meetings and installations with senior team members, assisting in delivery and snagging
  • Take ownership of specific project packages and timelines with support from senior designers
  • Participate in regular studio design reviews and contribute creatively to team discussions

 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in interior design, with a strong Hospitality project focus
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • A strong sense of concept development and storytelling through design
  • Confident, proactive, and organised – able to manage time and workload independently
  • Positive and collaborative attitude, with excellent communication skills
  • A high-quality portfolio of previous proven work in the Hospitality sector
