Midweight Interior Designer

Location:             South Kensington, London
Salary:                  £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience

This is a rare opportunity to join a prestigious design house where every project is a masterclass in understated glamour and exceptional detail.

Based in a beautiful South Kensington studio and showroom, the team works across high-end residential and hospitality projects in London and internationally. This role is ideal for a talented and driven Midweight Interior Designer who shares a passion for classic-meets-contemporary aesthetics, bespoke detailing, and delivering exquisite interiors at the highest level.

This opportunity would suit a Midweight Interior Designer with 4+ years’ experience in the luxury Residential sector, a strong design sensibility, and confident in using AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.

 

Package:

  • Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Office:   South Kensington, London
Hours:   9:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday

 

Duties:

  • Assist in developing concept designs, mood boards, and presentation packages
  • Work closely with senior designers to develop layouts, joinery, and finishes proposals
  • Create detailed technical drawings in AutoCAD, including GA plans, elevations, and joinery details
  • Liaise with suppliers and artisans for FF&E sourcing, samples, and bespoke pieces
  • Produce and coordinate full FF&E schedules with pricing and specifications
  • Support on-site implementation and installations with the wider project team
  • Prepare client presentations and assist in design reviews
  • Manage specific project areas independently with a focus on detail and delivery

 

Requirements:

  • 4 + years of experience in luxury Residential interior design
  • Fluent in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp
  • Excellent eye for detail, materiality, and proportion
  • Confident communicator, both visually and verbally, with clients and suppliers
  • Proven ability to manage own workload and work collaboratively within a team
  • A strong personal interest in high-end interiors, bespoke furniture, and curated styling
