Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate with the Design Manager and other disciplines in all aspects of design, documentation, tender and construction.
Provide design input and coordinate with concept and development team in preparing landscape design for new projects.
Assist other departments in preparing landscape-specific design input for various tasks such as standards development, facilities management and maintenance, cost studies, temporary landscape installations, renovations, marketing and sales campaigns, special CM requirements, and others.
Provide specialist advisory to the technical and construction teams in landscape-specific design, planning and construction decisions.
Ensure consultant output is coordinated with DAMAC’s requirements for design, construction, and maintenance.
Maintain constant coordination with in-house resources to keep landscape design work on track throughout the project.
Coordinate with Design Manager and other disciplines for design document approvals.
Coordinate regular reports on design work progress with the Design Manager.
Ensure compliance with DAMAC’s policies and procedures and Design Standards
Ensure appropriate usage and application of the project management system with respect to entry and analysis of work related data for day to day functioning to facilitate seamless communication of all relevant (technical/non-technical) information across the organization on a real time basis for maximum effectiveness.
Ensure design compliance to DAMAC standards for landscape development. In the absence of relevant company standards, ensure compliance with local and international standards, guidelines and best practices.
Coordinate with Design Managers and other disciplines to ensure team knowledge of relevant landscape standards applicable to projects.
Ensure consultant knowledge and compliance with company standards on design, policies and procedures.
Ensure timely and accurate design review documentation, reporting and filing
Maintain, monitor and manage Consultants design documentation change register.
