Labourers/ Forklift Operators

701 Recruitment is seeking physically fit and reliable labourers to join a family-owned manufacturer of quality treated timber products. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business with the potential for temp-to-perm employment after proving yourself in the role.

You will be working in a team-oriented environment, where you will be responsible for a variety of hands-on tasks, including handling and processing timber.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lifting and Feeding Timber: Handle and feed timber through machinery for processing
• Use of Hand Tools: Perform tasks using standard hand tools
• Timber Production: Work on both standard and custom timber builds, ensuring precision and quality
• Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Physically Fit: The role involves manual labor, including lifting and carrying timber
• Reliability: We are looking for someone who is dependable and takes pride in their work
• Attention to Detail: Ability to work with precision, especially when building custom timber products
• Previous Experience (Preferred but not Required): Experience in a similar manufacturing or timber production environment would be an advantage
• Team Player: Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a positive attitude
• Forklift licence, highly advantageous
