• Competitive Pay: $20 - $22 per hour depending on experience

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

As general labourer at our Calgary Reload Division, you will:

• Assist with general yard clean up and maintenance
• Perform manual labour tasks and support operations
• Railcar cabling (center beams of lumber) – pending Fall Protection certification
• General rigging, shunting trailers, forklift operation, and pneumatic loading of trailers – pending certification/training
• Work in adherence to all safe work practices, procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crew
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• Previous general labourer or forklift experience are an asset but not required
• Familiarity with power tools is an asset
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job (standing for periods of time, climbing ladders, lifting 10 – 20lbs, etc.)
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
• Must be punctual and reliable
