The role

Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, this role will see you maintaining and repairing Sunwater’s electrical assets as well as assisting with the operational requirements of the scheme. Other key responsibilities include:-

• Participate in the delivery of the non-routine electrical works programme, manage electrical contractors and complete any other task or activity as required
• Identify, analyse and resolve operational/technical problems and troubleshooting task to restore systems and equipment to an operational state
• Prioritise work, meet deadlines and work effectively within a multi-disciplined team environment

You will bring:

You will have strong analytical and technical skills to analyse situations and provide appropriate solutions in a heavy industrial environment. Your previous experience with Instrumentation, PLC systems, SCADA, solar and communication systems will be highly advantageous. You will have the ability to think innovatively and adaptively to resolve complex issues, ensure the management of project risks and achieve project objectives.  In addition, you will have:-

• Queensland electrical work licence (dual trade qualifications would be highly regarded)
• High voltage switching qualifications or the ability to obtain
• Class C drivers licence for a manual vehicle
• Confined space certificate or ability to obtain
• Working at heights and elevating work platforms or the ability to obtain
