CIVIL ENGINEER
SCONE
Temporary Full-Time – 3 year contract (35 hours
per week)
The
role:
Council is currently seeking highly motivated Civil Engineer
to join the Strategic Assets team. The role will be responsible for supporting with survey, design, project management, asset
management, Renewable Energy Zone Development Assessment and technical
reporting on major projects, as well as developing and maintaining forward
works programs for the renewal and upgrade of infrastructure assets. The Civil
Engineer is responsible for implementing Council’s asset management strategy
and reviewing and updating infrastructure asset management plans, policies and
incorporate asset data into council’s asset management software.

What we need from you:
Our ideal
candidate will hold a Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
and will have previous experience in a similar role. Knowledge of surveying, road infrastructure design, asset
management practices project management is essential, as is knowledge of Auto
CAD or Civil Cad or equivalent and some drafting skills. Substantial experience
in the use of Asset Management Software and previous Local Government
experience would be an advantage for the role.
