Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalency plus a minimum of 4 years related experience or a combination of higher education and work experience; experience in carpentry, cabinetmaking skills and wood finishing techniques; knowledge of blueprint reading; basic knowledge in welding; knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions; knowledge of and ability to use a personal computer; ability to communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds; ability to operate maintenance vehicles, hand and power tools, and basic carpentry tools. Must be in good physical condition; ability to stand for long periods of time; exerts in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently lifting and moving objects; frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching; occasional climbing of ladders and scaffolds; frequent carrying of loads up and down stairs; works in all weather conditions and in very dusty, noisy conditions; occasionally exposed to chemicals and solvents; good vision and hearing essential. |
