Carpenter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in and around Benkelman, NE. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of $32-34/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Rough framing of new build
• Ground up work
• Work on walls, roof, & sheeting
• Construct exterior load-bearing walls using studs, plates, headers, & beams
• Ensure walls dimensions & layout match design plans
• Frame non-load bearing partition walls
• Ensure proper alignment & spacing
• Incorporate openings for doors and windows as per the design
• Install plywood, OSB, or other sheathing material to the exterior walls for structural support
• Apply a moisture barrier or house wrap over the sheathing to protect against weather damage
• Install roof beams, rafters, and/or trusses for proper load-bearing support
• Ensure all framing components are ready for the next phases of construction, including siding, insulation, drywall, & interior finishes
• Other tasks as assigned
