About the Role
BGIS is seeking a qualified Carpenter to join our Christchurch team. This role is hands-on, working across a variety of residential and commercial maintenance and renovation projects. You’ll repair, install, and maintain a wide range of fixtures, fittings, and structures — delivering high-quality results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform residential maintenance and renovation work
- Repair and install joinery, linings, cladding, doors, windows, cabinetry, locks, flooring, and fixtures
- Use company systems (iPad-based) to document and close out jobs
- Work collaboratively with a multi-skilled trade team
What We’re Looking For
- NZ Certificate in Carpentry (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in residential maintenance and renovations
- Full NZ driver’s licence
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety
- Comfortable using mobile apps for job and time management
