Job Description

BIM Technician / Revit Engineer / CAD Design Engineer required to join a leading provider of industrial mechanical engineering products, services / solutions.

This BIM Technician / Revit Engineer / CAD Design Engineer will be responsible for producing and managing engineering drawings from tender stage through to project completion, undertaking coordination review and document control on mechanical engineering products such as pumps, pipework, plumbing and more.

The BIM Technician / Revit Engineer / CAD Design Engineer should possess Revit experience within any mechanical, architectural and or electrical engineering industry. Candidates need BIM-related software such as AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks.

BIM Technician / Revit Engineer / CAD Design Engineer Role:

• Responsible for producing and managing engineering drawings from tender stage through to project completion, undertaking coordination review and document control on mechanical engineering products such as pumps, pipework, plumbing and more.
• Produce 3D models of pump products and systems for traditional, pre-fabricated and modularised solutions.
• Lead design coordination meetings with contractors and designers
• Work closely with construction and installation teams to ensure coordinated delivery
• Able to travel to the office in Chandlers Ford

BIM Technician / Revit Engineer / CAD Design Engineer Requirements:

• Experience as a BIM Technician, BIM Design Engineer, CAD Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, BIM Engineer from a mechanical, construction, electrical, plumbing, architectural background.
• BIM-related software proficiency preferably within AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
• Awareness of document sharing platform and review/approval process
• Capable of resolving design conflicts
• Able to travel to the office in Chandlers Ford
