AFL GF Events Labourer

Our client has some upcoming work supporting the AFL Grand Final at the MCG. - $43 per hour

Role Information

• $43 per hour casual with penalty rates for overtime
• start times vary according to onsite works
• parking onsite for convenience

Period of work will be

• Friday 5th of September for the 1 day
• Monday 8th September & Friday 12th September for 2 days
• Monday 15th September till the Friday 26th September Weekdays only (10 x Days) including 26th Public Holiday
• Monday 29th September till the Tuesday 7th October (7 x Days)

Requirements for the role will be

• Forklift Licence
• EWP Licence a major advantage
• Traffic Control Certificate
• Construction Industry Card
• Please ensure availability for the entire project
• A Dogman or Spotters ticket is preferred to ensure safe loading and loading of trucks and mantaining exclusion zones etc.
• Experience directing traffic around constructions sites, and roadworks in general​​​​​​

Main Duties

• Load/unload trucks of Compressors, Road Barriers, Lighting Towers and other industrial equipment
• Place equipment into position using site maps provided
• General Site Duties
• Manual Lifting of up to 20 kg
• Directing trucks and deliveries  around the site as needed
• Spotting of loading and unloading of trucks in accordance with relevant SOP’s
