Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm
Pay: £20-£25 depending on payment type.
We are recruiting for a temporary worker to assist with plumbing and fabric maintenance on a static commercial site in Southampton. This is a 3-month role with immediate start.
Duties;
Carry out minor plumbing repairs (e.g. unblocking sinks, fixing dripping taps, replacing shower heads)
Perform general fabric maintenance including basic carpentry, patch painting, and repairing fixtures
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and site staff
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance across living areas, kitchens, and communal spaces
Replace light bulbs, tighten fittings, and carry out other minor reactive tasks
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored appropriately
Report any damage, health and safety issues, or access problems to the site supervisor
Communicate effectively with on-site teams and external contractors when requiredRequirements:
Plumbing/fabric maintenance experience
Reliable and available for full-time weekday work
