About the opportunity:
Due to company expansion and a healthy pipeline of work secured, our client is recruiting permanently for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based at their office in Peterborough. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work on a multi utility projects and will be responsible for the management of subcontractors and accounts, maintaining the commercial risk register, managing client disputes and internal auditing, overseeing weekly valuations and confirming accuracy of measurements, producing CVR’s for all projects and carrying out cost analysis and reduction initiatives to name just a few duties.
About the benefits and rewards:
For this permanent opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere from £65,000 to £72,000 per annum; however, there may be flexibility on this as the specific salary will depend on previous experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered, which includes a £4,500 car allowance.

About the requirements:
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. Additionally, you must hold stability of employment and due to the sector of work my client specialises in, you must have proven success in working within the utilities UK market and have strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
Lastly, due to the office and project locations, you must reside within commutable distance from Peterborough.
