About Us:
Instaspark LTD, part of the Instaloft goup of companies, is seeking an enthusiastic, fully qualified Electrician to join our growing team in Colchester and the surrounding areas .
We specialise in domestic electrical services, which can varies from the installation or replacement of a single LED light to EICR’s, EV car chargers and full or partial rewires.
Responsibilities:

Perform electrical installations, testing, inspections, and fault finding in line with current regulations (BS7671) and best practices.

Complete and submit electronic certifications (MEIWC, EICR, EIC) in a timely manner.

Ensure high-quality workmanship across all tasks, maintaining safety and compliance standards at all times.

Regularly communicate job progress and completion to the office/operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.

Manage materials, stock levels, and conduct monthly van stocktakes. Ensure timely stock orders are submitted.

Effectively use the company’s Workpal App for job scheduling, updates, and completing paperwork.

Provide outstanding customer service, addressing client questions and ensuring satisfaction with all work completed.

Perform monthly CPD activities and attend review meetings as required for NICEIC Accreditation.

Carry out monthly calibration of test equipment to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Maintain accurate records of testing, inspections, and completed work.

Ensure a clean, professional appearance by keeping company uniform and vehicle in excellent condition.

Contribute to team efforts and maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times while on site.
Requirements:
-
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
-
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (2382).
-
Testing & Inspection (2391 or 2394/2395).
-
Full UK driving license and own standard tools.
-
ECS Gold Card (preferred but not essential).
-
EV Charging qualification (preferred but not essential).
-
Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
-
Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
