Plumber – MOD Sites
Location: Helensburgh and surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £16.50 per hour

A leading, family-run FM company is seeking an experienced Plumber to join their team, working across domestic Ministry of Defence (MOD) sites in the West of Scotland. This follows the award of a major MOD maintenance contract.
This is a mobile Plumber role with a company van (personal use allowed), fuel card, and on-site parking provided.
Duties for the Plumber role include:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)

Responding to reactive plumbing issues and breakdowns

Diagnosing and repairing faults in heating and water systems

Installing and maintaining sanitary ware, pipework, and drainage
-
Conducting legionella checks and remedial tasks
-
Ensuring all work is compliant with health and safety regulations
This Plumber position will involve working across a range of domestic buildings, primarily MOD housing and facilities.
The successful Plumber will receive:

£16.50 per hour

Company van and fuel card (with optional personal use)

32 days annual leave

On-call rota approx. 1 in 6 (includes £100 standby pay and minimum 3-hour call-out payment)

Tools and uniform provided
Essential requirements for the Plumber:

NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent

Proven experience working as a Plumber in domestic or commercial settings

Full UK driving licence

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and water regulations
