Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenters for a site in Wadebridge. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating proficiency with hand tools and various building techniques.
Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.

Perform joinery tasks to ensure precision in the assembly of components.

Measure, cut, and shape materials as per specifications while ensuring they are plumb and level.

Work on roofing projects, including the installation of rafters and trusses.

Engage in masonry work as required for structural integrity.

Execute painting tasks to finish surfaces with high-quality results.

Conduct basic electrical work related to carpentry projects when necessary.

Assemble and fabricate custom pieces according to client specifications or project requirements.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry.

Knowledge of joinery techniques and ability to perform precise measurements.

Familiarity with roofing methods and materials.

Basic understanding of masonry principles is advantageous.

Experience in painting and finishing techniques is preferred.

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
