Looking for Compex Electricians to work on a power station in Kent. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant installation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical equipment
Responsibilities:

Install and maintain electrical wiring, control, and lighting systems.

Inspect, repair, and replace electrical components, such as wiring, fixtures, transformers, and circuit breakers.

Perform general electrical maintenance and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical system issues and malfunctions.

Adhere to all relevant building codes, safety procedures, and industry standards, including the National Electrical Code.
Qualifications and Skills:

CompEx certification is essential

Previous experience working in hazardous areas is a priority.

Qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field are beneficial.

Strong technical skills in electrical engineering.

Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.

Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with other skilled trades.

Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.

Proficiency in using testing equipment and hand tools.

Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
