Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our facilities management team, supporting commercial and public sector buildings across the Fife region. The successful candidate will carry out a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems on client sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance on electrical systems including lighting, power, distribution boards, and emergency systems.

Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and minor installations as required.

Complete testing and inspection of electrical systems, ensuring full compliance with current regulations.

Accurately maintain records, logbooks, and documentation for all work undertaken.

Support compliance with statutory regulations and internal quality, health & safety procedures.

Work collaboratively with other trades and FM personnel to deliver a first-class service.

Participate in on-call rota and attend emergency call-outs as required.
Requirements:

Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship and City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification – essential.

Previous experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial or FM environment.

Excellent understanding of electrical safety and legislation.

Full, clean UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills:

Experience working within schools, healthcare, or public buildings.

Additional trade skills or multi-skilled background an advantage.

PASMA, IPAF, or L8 awareness certifications.
