Key Responsibilities:
Designing and assessing highway structures, including bridges, in accordance with relevant Eurocodes and standards.
Providing technical expertise and guidance on structural engineering projects.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
Conducting site visits to Exeter, as well as supporting projects in Dorset and Somerset.
Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Liaising with stakeholders, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Mentoring and providing support to junior engineers as needed.
Job Requirements:
Experience in structural engineering, particularly with highway structures.
CEng/IEng qualification is highly desirable.
Good working technical knowledge and understanding of Eurocodes.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
