Surveyor with at least 3 years’ experience in the construction sector to join our growing team. Based near Huntingdon, this is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic shopfitting and fire protection contractor delivering projects across London and the South.

Your Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key part in the financial management of projects from pre-contract through to final account. You’ll be responsible for cost control, valuations, variations, and working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans

Undertake site measurements and valuations
-
Monitor and control project expenditure
-
Prepare interim applications and final accounts

Manage subcontractor procurement and payments
-
Identify and value variations and negotiate agreements
-
Support the commercial team and director with contract administration
Requirements:
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction
-
Background in fit-out, refurbishment, or subcontracting preferred
-
Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
-
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
-
Based near Huntingdon or within reasonable commuting distance

Full UK driving licence
