We are working with a well established regional civil engineering contractor is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, supporting a range of infrastructure and construction projects across Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.
This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking business working on long-term frameworks and standalone projects. You’ll be involved throughout the full commercial lifecycle, from procurement to final accounts.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage interim applications, final accounts, and cost reporting (CVRs).

Administer subcontract procurement and payments.

Identify and manage variations and commercial risks.

Work closely with operational teams to monitor project performance.

Ensure contract compliance (typically NEC or JCT).

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and commercial strategy.
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction or civil engineering sector.

Strong working knowledge of NEC or JCT contracts.

Experience managing subcontract packages and producing cost reports.

Relevant qualifications (degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or similar).

Full UK driving licence – this is a site and office-based role.
Desirable:

Experience on highways, utilities, public realm, or infrastructure projects.

Previous work with regional contractors or on framework contracts.
